COVERSTORY
"Eternal Glamour: The Celebration Issue" - she's a icon, a legend, and yet, a woman."
For Vogue's March 2024 issue, our cover story is about celebrating the timeless allure and enduring grace of women. In this iconic moment, Queen Mom graces the cover with an effortless elegance that transcends the boundaries of time. From a modest girl raised in a family involved in pisciculture to a leader, her "life-lessoned" legacy has profoundly left an enduring mark on our hearts and souls. "She is my icon, my role model, and yet, my best friend." — Thỏ, 2024.
"Born into a family deeply connected to pisciculture, Queen Mom spent her early years learning the art of nurturing life beneath the surface of the ponds and rivers. Little did anyone know that this unassuming girl would one day become a beacon of success and compassion."
As she grew older, her determination to rise above her humble beginnings became apparent. Despite the challenges of a modest upbringing, she embraced education with zeal. Her journey led her to the world of pharmacy, where she discovered a passion for healing and caring for others. Retrospectively, it was such an iconic moment when she knew that she had been accepted by Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University - one of the most prestigious institutions at that time. She told me that she initially wanted to become someone in the medical industry due to the loss of a friend. Through countless nights of diligent study, she earned her pharmacist's degree, marking the beginning of a remarkable legacy.
She understood well that her life is never a bed of roses, after many highs and lows, ups and downs, applauses and criticisms, Now, at the age of 50, Queen Mom stands as a symbol of accomplishment and resilience. Her days are a symphony of responsibilities as a dedicated manager of a pharmacy company, tirelessly working to ensure the well-being of her community. At work where she serves, her expertise is not just a profession but a lifeline for those in need.
As she reaches the milestone of 50 years, we come together to celebrate her. The air is filled with gratitude for her tireless contributions to the well-being of the community. A grand celebration unfolds, with everyone expressing their heartfelt appreciation for a woman who, despite her accomplishments, remains humble and connected to her authenticity.
This cover story of Queen Mom is a testament to the transformative power of determination, education, and compassion. From a modest girl in a pisciculturist family to a revered manager at 50, her journey illuminates the path for others to follow — a path paved with resilience, kindness, and the unwavering belief that every dream, no matter how humble its origins, can blossom into something extraordinary.

Mom graces a cover to celebrate her new phase of life.
For the very first time, my momma got a chance to grace a DIY's Vogue cover by her son. This photoshoot is one of the most memorable moments in my life.
"For the very first time, my 48-year-old mom debuted her first Vogue cover as a celebration of turning to a new phase of life. Her legacy, which serves as an example of feminism, is firmly embedded in our hearts and souls. "
The theme of the publication centered around the concept of female empowerment. My mom featured in the article was adorned in a blue-satin dress and layered with a men's coat, paired with a minimalist pearl necklace and poised in an elegant manner. This serves as evidence that women can exude beauty without resorting to over-sexualization, and that growing older is not a flaw.
As long as I remember, it was a pretty nice afternoon with sunshine in the second day of our traditional new year "Tết". Both of my parents are extremely busy to prepare for those celebrations. Therefore, they are both exhausted during these days, so it's not easy to get them out for a photoshoot since it requires too much of posing. However, thanks to my effort, the shoot finally happened. It literally exceeded my expectations. After the shoot, I put out my phone to retouch them immediately. At midnight, I finally get what I've been dying for. This photograph was outrageously fantastic. My mom killed it!

"Thor" graces the cover of i-D magazine: "I had to rebuild myself again."
"Quang Tu Tho graces the cover of i-D magazine's June issue. In an exclusive interview, Tho opens up about his personal journey of reinvention and how he's been able to carve out a new path for himself in life."
"Quang Tu Tho graces the cover of i-D magazine's June issue. In an exclusive interview, Tho opens up about his personal journey of reinvention and how he's been able to carve out a new path for himself in life."
Quang Tu Tho, a biomedical engineering undergraduate student, has opened up about the struggles he faced in his major, including bullying from his professors and friends. However, he has managed to overcome these challenges by rebuilding his entire thinking process.
In an exclusive interview, Tho shares that he initially chose biomedical engineering because he was passionate about helping people. However, he quickly realized that the major was much more challenging than he anticipated, and he began to struggle with the coursework.
"On top of the academic difficulties, I also faced bullying from some of my professors and peers," -Tho says. "It was a very difficult time for me, and I began to doubt whether I was cut out for this field."
However, instead of giving up, Tho decided to take a step back and reevaluate his approach to his studies. He began to focus on developing a growth mindset and building his resilience, rather than solely focusing on grades and success.
"I realized that I needed to change my thinking process entirely," Tho explains. "I began to see failures and setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than reasons to give up."
This shift in mindset proved to be a turning point for Tho, as he was able to overcome his academic struggles and thrive in his major. He has since become a standout student and recognition for his work in biomedical engineering.
Through his experiences, Tho has also become an advocate for mental health and the importance of building resilience in the face of adversity. He hopes to inspire other students who may be struggling with similar challenges to persevere and believe in themselves.
"As hard as it may seem at times, it's important to remember that you are capable of overcoming any obstacle that comes your way," Tho says. "With the right mindset and support, anything is possible."
Quang Tu Tho's story is a reminder that success is not just about talent or intelligence, but also about resilience and the ability to overcome challenges. By sharing his journey, he is inspiring others to embrace growth and push themselves to achieve their goals, no matter how difficult they may seem.
